In the Rockies

Mt Robson on an awesome day, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies.

Athabasca Glacier between Jasper and Banff is receeding at a rate of 5m per yer. Water from here flows to the Atlantic, Pacific and Artic Oceans. Who thought standing on 150yr old ice would be slippery?

"Testing the waters" at Maligne Lake Jasper N.P August 05. Tip: Glacier feed lakes are very cold!
