Hiking Black Tusk

The Black Tusk Garibaldi Provincial Park B.C. Enlarge the photo and you can see people at the bottom left and right of the tusk as it comes up from the ridge and on top. From this photo, it took about 15 mins for it to snow.

Relaxing at base camp by Garibaldi Lake. The lake was frozen 2 weeks before we were there. Glacier lakes are a great source of water for your scotch while camping.

A nice warm summers day, a great day for a hike. Not a care in the world.

Holly Crap! we have to go all the way up there?

Nicole takes time out on the way back down to give the pack mule a much needed rest.
Almost at the top, a great veiw back down "the Tusk" at the path that we took from the lake.

The weather had turned very quick and was snowing seconds before this photo was taken.....did i mention that it was summer?
